Here's a diary entry that Rang a Sé wrote together based on the class novel "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas"...
16th December 1939
Dear Diary,
I’m really confused. I don’t really understand. I found Maria packing my bag. She was in my closet again digging through my things. I will talk to mother about this. She won’t tell me why she is packing.
I rushed into the hall and saw Mother. She looked upset. She told me to go downstairs. I asked her what was going on and she informed that that we were moving. I can’t believe that this is happening. My friends and I have been making plans for the summer. I wonder if I will ever get to talk to my friends again.
