Drámaíocht

Here's two wee comhrá beirte to improve both acting skills for drámaíocht and conversational Irish. The first one is just two friendsmeeting by chance while the second is about someone ordering food in a restaurant etc.

Have your child practice with you, or a sibling, with each person choosing red/black and then swapping on the second read through.

Encourage them to imagine the scenario and to say the questions as questions, rather than reading them flat.

The pronunciation of words like fadhb, aoibhinn and uait are available on the sites these words link to; but your child should be able to pronounce them for you.

Seo comhrá le haghaidh triúr.

This is a three person conversation piece .

The colour coded gaps are for the names of those taking part and it takes place when one person (blue lines) runs into a friend (red lines) and their other friend (green lines) out walking.

We have already read through this ar scoil so it would be great if families could practice it sa bhaile as well.
